This blog was created out of admiration for the art of building and to showcase the great variety of model gliders and planes that Brian built at home over the years. Brian is proud to say that every plane here was built with so much care - such a labour of love. Brian enjoys designing as well as building as you can see here on his blog and it brings him such joy when the end product is able to soar way up in the sky. This is what keeps Brian going and he would not have it any other way.
Launching is the most critical time for slope soaring especially if the wind is strong. The slightest error in aileron trim will result in a quick crash. If you turn your back to the slope and hold the glider as shown in the photo, you will soon realise if the ailerons are not in trim, as the plane will tip either to the left or to the right very powerfully. You can trim the ailerons till the plane, stays level. Now is the time to launch it.
